Foodies can be very fickle – especially if they are armed with a smartphone. An increasing number of diners are instagraming, tweeting and Facebooking their meals. This can generate a lot of positive conversation – or it can result in a poor review online, accessible by many.

In this post, I´ll look at 10 Victorian food and/or beverage establishments using social media in a positive way, to engage, listen, respond and develop relationships with their customers beyond their physical venue.

Understanding how the advertising and media agency audience used social media during their work day was a crucial starting point for delivering a winning strategy. We conducted a series of online focus groups, uncovering the core insights that would then drive the strategy for engagement.

Ignite Your Ideas was the result, and has launched recently, playing out over Facebook, Twitter, Slideshare, Pinterest, YouTube and more. We’ll continue to update our folio as more of this work is developed and delivered.
